The repository Special Collections includes more than 350 books. Books pertain to the history of Morgan, its residents, and the history of the state of Utah. The collection also includes books on trappers, Native Americans, personal family histories, county history books and LDS Church History. These books are all cataloged on the library Follett System and searchable on the computer system. New acquisitions are obtained frequently.
Many of the books in the Special Collections are rare and out of print. The books are available for research only and can not be checked out.

Morgan County School Buildings

|This book contains a brief history of the 15 settlements in the county and the school buildings that functioned there. Also included is a history of the consolidation of the school precincts into one district (1908) and the later 1936 consolidation of all schools buildings located centrally at Morgan City.

|This book contains two sections. Paul Stuart wrote the first section in 1986 for the Morgan County Historical Society. It contains a history of the early baseball teams in the county and the rivalry between the local teams. Many of the early players are listed.
Section Two contains a history of the playing fields in the county, a history of the famous Devil’s Slide Red Devils and the LDS Church teams.
